fill in the blank friday

yay, another Friday has arrived and I am ready for the weekend! Although I have had the last three Mondays off and this one coming up will be my first one back, I am slightly nervous that it will draaaag on. But first it's the weekend and I need to stay positive! Happy blanking, and don't forget to link up over at the little things we do!

1. One of my favorite things to do when I have free time is watch a show or movie with husband while eating freshly popped popcorn or any flavor of ice cream .

2. When I have free time I tend to blogstalk, watch gossip girl, read a book, play angry birds/ bejeweled or knit. Most of the time a combination of sorts :) .

3. If I had an entire day completely to myself I would Stay in my sweats and veg out in front of the tv whilst doing all of the things listed in #2. I LOVE stay at home alone days.

4. I would prefer to spend my free time (alone or with others...) both, hanging out with others brings happiness and joy, but I get grumpy if I havent had much alone time!

5. Most of my free time happens Thursdays and the weekends, my days off.

6. The best thing about free time is I can do whatever I want, and free time with the man I love is an extra bonus, we both have this Saturday Sunday off, amazing!

7. The next time I have free time I should probably Change the bed sheets and clean off my crazy unorganized desk but instead I'll probably sit around and snuggle with husband :)

happy Friday ladies! I hope you enjoy the first weekend of the new year :)

  1. I've enjoyed reading your blanks. I completely agree that the best thing about free time is being able to spend it with the one you love! Have a lovely weekend together. I am now following!

to live is Christ, to die is gain.

The apostle Paul wrote those words in Philippians 1:21...God did some miraculous work thru Paul didn't he!? After Paul saw the light (literally) he traveled to Judea, Syria, Cilicia, Galatia, Pamphylia, Asia, Macedonia, Achaia and Italy. WOW. I've shared God's word....via skype to my bestie Nicole and...uhhh..shoot. What am I doing?! Yikes, I'm so ready to go, to tell of God's glory, to "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and teaching." (2 Tim. 4:2) Its convicting to know that I really haven't done as much as I could be doing, if I died, I have no doubt I would meet Jesus, my Lord and Savior would know my heart and how much I love Him and my willingness and readiness to share Him with the world..but I also know He will stand before me and say, Look at what you could have had, if only you had come to me sooner, done My work rather than yours. In one of my earlier posts I had writ...

Midnight in Paris

I just stumbled upon these seriously gorgeous photos of Marion Cotillard and had to share! I am now itching to see Midnight in Paris because of its 93% rating from Rotten Tomatoes {and dang it's hard to please them!}. Have you seen it, did you enjoy it? xxoo

Dinner Fail, Dessert Win!

Last nights dinner was supposed to look like this Instead it turned out like this It was a serious fail. The flavor was good, but it looked terrible and took more than twice as long to make as we thought it would. Oh and, it was a bit too crispy. BUT Dessert redeemed me, it was Kiwi Lemon Cheesecake - Yum! The recipe called for lemon curd, and when I saw how expensive it was at the store, I decided to try and make my own! It turned out great, and this was the end result It was not quite as solid as it should have been, but delicious non-the-less! Both of these recipes were from Rachel Ray's Everyday magazine. It was exciting making new things, hopefully next time they turn out a bit better :) xxoo
