fill in the blank friday!

thank goodness its friday because this week has been the worst.  for some reason this has been one crazy emotional week.  i'm not proud to say my poor husband probably things i've gone crazy.  yesterday seemed better, so we'll just hope this weekend still heads in the {tracy is normal} direction.

fill out your blanks and then go link up at the little things we do.

1.   The last thing I ate was     blackberry nutri-grain bar.  yum! .

2.   The last song I listened to was    "Heaven is Here" by Dashboard Confessionals.  my morning mix is rockin' this morning :)     .

3.  Using the letters in my name I can spell    {Tracy} art, act, tray...is it bad that this is all my eyes see at the moment?     .

4.  If I had to dress in one color for the rest of my life I would pick     definitely blue.  1-for jeans   2-blue is the only color that looks consistently good on me!  3-so many different shades to work with!   .

5.  If you were to look in my bag right now you'd find    glasses in a pink case, 'The Kite Runner', gold bangles, loads of chapstick and lip glosses, wallet, hair ties and bobby pins and probably a bunch of other random items  .

6.  When I finish filling in the blanks I'm going to    shower and get ready for work  .

7.  My all time favorite song to dance to is    'Paint it Black' originally by Rolling Stones but i always get to dance to it at a 'Boys Next Door' show, they are awesome :)  .

happy friday, happy blanking and happy weekending!

to live is Christ, to die is gain.

The apostle Paul wrote those words in Philippians 1:21...God did some miraculous work thru Paul didn't he!? After Paul saw the light (literally) he traveled to Judea, Syria, Cilicia, Galatia, Pamphylia, Asia, Macedonia, Achaia and Italy. WOW. I've shared God's word....via skype to my bestie Nicole and...uhhh..shoot. What am I doing?! Yikes, I'm so ready to go, to tell of God's glory, to "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and teaching." (2 Tim. 4:2) Its convicting to know that I really haven't done as much as I could be doing, if I died, I have no doubt I would meet Jesus, my Lord and Savior would know my heart and how much I love Him and my willingness and readiness to share Him with the world..but I also know He will stand before me and say, Look at what you could have had, if only you had come to me sooner, done My work rather than yours. In one of my earlier posts I had writ...

Midnight in Paris

I just stumbled upon these seriously gorgeous photos of Marion Cotillard and had to share! I am now itching to see Midnight in Paris because of its 93% rating from Rotten Tomatoes {and dang it's hard to please them!}. Have you seen it, did you enjoy it? xxoo

Dinner Fail, Dessert Win!

Last nights dinner was supposed to look like this Instead it turned out like this It was a serious fail. The flavor was good, but it looked terrible and took more than twice as long to make as we thought it would. Oh and, it was a bit too crispy. BUT Dessert redeemed me, it was Kiwi Lemon Cheesecake - Yum! The recipe called for lemon curd, and when I saw how expensive it was at the store, I decided to try and make my own! It turned out great, and this was the end result It was not quite as solid as it should have been, but delicious non-the-less! Both of these recipes were from Rachel Ray's Everyday magazine. It was exciting making new things, hopefully next time they turn out a bit better :) xxoo
