Right now.

Right now I'm listening to Adele, in my pj's, wishing I didn't have to take husband to work today and that he was still sitting here with me. Right now I'm thinking about what we would name a little boy if we had one. And wondering if he would have little blonde curls, hoping he might have his daddy's green/blue eyes. I'm obviously still baby dreaming. {I probably will be until I have one.} Right now I should be clearing out the leftover boxes in the office from our move, so that I can finally share our new home with you guys. What are you doing / dreaming / and procrastinating?

Fill in the Blank Friday!

Look at me, two whole weeks in a row of being on time with my blanking, that's dedication people. Link up with Lauren here! . 1. The best surprise ever would be, a surprise vacation! For my husband to wake me up one morning and say, "I've packed your bag and called your work, we're going away for a week!". And then of course for him to take me somewhere warm and tropical. . 2. Mark and my 8 months of dating is my most favorite memory . 3. The hardest, but most worthwhile thing I've ever done was getting married. It wasn't too hard at the time, but after the fact I guess. Marriage is hard, but DEFINITELY worthwhile . 4. The best part of my day is either in the morning, when we get ready for our day together, or after work, when husband and I make dinner together and just enjoy each other all evening . 5. Something I like that most people don't is holding a crying baby. In hopes of course of calming it down, but I don'

Fill in the Blank Friday

Happy weekend! Today is the day before I move. Eeks! And holy smokes these two weeks flew by! Lauren was in the mood for cheerful blanks, so here we go! Link up with her at The Little Things We Do 1. Something that is very near and dear to my heart is my sisters. Each of them hold a special place in my heart and I love them so much! . 2. Life is good cause to celebrate . 3. The most fun I ever had was honeymooning with my husband, and our last vacation in Huntington Beach, everyday was an adventure! . 4. True friends are the ones where no topic is off-limits and you can always pick up where you left off even if there's a time lapse between visits . Yes, I kept Lauren's answer. 5. Something that makes me terribly happy is staring at my sweet husband when he doesn't notice. He is so darn cute! . 6. A good way to spend a sunny day is with an iced drink and my love, wandering around different outdoor shops, or just relaxing in the sun . 7. My favorite

Baby Dreaming

I catch myself daydreaming of pregnancy daily. What will those first few months bring? Sickness, be too tired, or maybe I'll just glow? How will those little kicks feel inside of me? Will I be able to give birth with no drugs? Then I dream of what my baby will be like.. Blonde curls. Tiny smiles. Little perfect ears. Swaddled up like a little worm. All I've ever wanted was to be a mommy. I cannot wait for the day the doctor says I'm pregnant. I cannot wait for Mark to be a father. I cannot wait to breast feed, to carry that baby-my baby around, to finally have one of my own. I'm praying for this little baby that has yet to be conceived. I pray for your health, your habits. I pray you will feel all the love I already have for you, that we already have for you.

Gratitude: 10 things

1. My husband and everything he does for us. Providing, cooking and cleaning when needed, and rubbing my poor shoulders when I ask nicely ;) 2. A coffee shop less than a mile from my house. 3. Sunny, warm and slightly breezy days. 4. A forgiving loving God. 5. That I'm never worried about our finances. Husband does a remarkable job with our budgets. We don't have a ton of money or anything, but I know God and Mark are totally on top of it which makes me stress free! 6. My four sisters. I could say so much about each of them, but I'm just going to say I'm grateful to have them at all. 7. Books / Libraries / Powells. 8. Our giant {king} bed. 9. My dishwasher that helps me not look like a lazy wife ;) 10. Love & Love notes with fresh flowers attached.

Home Alone

Yesterday was husbands and my last full day in Portland together. We ate a delicious breakfast, did some packing and headed downtown for shopping! With Marks new job he needs some more professional workwear, starbucks was all black pants and black shirts, so we were really excited to go shopping! We ate lunch at Cafe Yumm which they don't have in Olympia, and then headed home, stopping to take a photo on the Hawthorne bridge. Today he packed up clothes for the week and took off to start his first day at work. He only works until Thursday, then Friday we head to Eugene to watch my baby sister in her last ever district track meet! By the way, this awesome baby sister of mine (who is 18,what??!) made the U of O dance team yesterday!! I'm so proud and can't wait to watch her dance! Anyway, Saturday we pack up and take off for our new home, it still is so surreal! I can't wait to share pictures of our new home! Have a great week!! love Tracy
