forgetting to blog.

Geez, I'm now too busy doing every single thing you can imagine, that I keep forgetting to blog.  And by every single thing you can imagine, I mean work, planning a wedding, preparing for marriage and trying to stay sane.  Not that those things are making me insane, I think its just a personality disorder that us Boatright ladies have. :)  Okay, not a disorder...more like...um...okay yes, its a disorder.  Although my insanity has not yet caused my Mark (or Joellen's Mark) to go insane also, so please don't worry about catching the disease. Work is still sucky. Wedding planning is still somewhat stressful. On a brighter note, the whole Boatright clan got together in McMinnville this past Sunday, it was so much fun!  We ate desserts, drank tasty stuff, opened gifts, and the 11 of us all got to be together.  The next day the 5 Boatright girls went dress shopping for the perfect bridesmaids dress...and we found it!  I'm not disclosing any photos of them, but needless to

weekend and wedding chores.

I love spending time with our couple friends (nothing against you single friends, I like you also!).  but this weekend we went over to the Kurkinen's house, and had a great time.  I made pulled pork tacos (in the crock pot, awesome) and Asena made some amazingly gooey brownies.  talking about married life and wedding stuff is so great with a couple that has been married for several years, and I love all the encouragement that they don't know they are giving Mark and I.  I just love seeing them so happy and in love still...it makes me so excited to be an old married couple with Mark :) this weekend Mark and I decided to go on a family run.  yep, just me and him :)  so Sunday morning, we laced up our shoes and ran for a whole 15 minutes.  haha.  I thought I was going to die, but Mark could have ran another hour and a half probably.  Sunday afternoon was spent with Mark's boss and his wife.  we went to PF Changs for lunch (YUM) and then Barista for a coffee.  Tim and his wif

something I've been pondering...

Last night I had quite the discussion with my bosses..it was very upsetting actually (for me anyway..).  I'm such a sensitive person that when something hard is brought up, I almost always end up in tears.  So the part I've been pondering is this, when is enough enough  at the workplace?  The thing I can't get out of my head is the few verses in the book of Colossians that says,         ' Whatever you do, work heartily,   as for the Lord and not for men,   24 knowing that from the Lord   you will receive the inheritance as your reward.   You are serving the Lord Christ.   25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.'        So even though I am ridiculed by a co-worker again and again, for nothing...should I stay there? I feel completely torn between sticking it out and just showing the co-worker Christ's love, and quitting so that I don't have to deal with her anymore. Any advice?

oops!

yikes!  this week has gone by so stinking fast, I even missed my fill in the blank friday!  there is constantly something happening now that Mark and I are engaged, people want to hang out, wedding plans need to be made, Grumpy Tracy takes over Awesome Tracy's brain...you know, things that happen to every bride-to-be.  BUT, after all that, we actually accomplished a TON this week.   For example : -We decided what exactly our invitations will say! -We made a wedding budget (that is constantly being altered..regardless, its there.) -We created a life budget for the two of us! -We found the PERFECT spot to get married! -And a pretty good reception spot! -I tried on 30 wedding dresses, and found three I liked...now my Momma can get started on meshing them all together! -My sister Joellen did our engagement photos (to see them, go to our  website ) -We know what the gm's are wearing... Okay, this is getting tiresome again...but needless to say, a lot of planning is bei

fill in the blank friday.

Yay!  Today is the day I've been waiting all week for!  Wait, I just lied, I've actually been waiting for tomorrow, because as soon as I give my school presentation tomorrow, I can concentrate 100% on my WEDDING DAY!  :D Anyway, once again  Lauren's  blog hosts this, and its just the greatest! 1.    Holiday spirit        doesn't usually kick in until close to Christmas for me...BUT this year, since I'm engaged, I'm feeling very Holiday Spirity :)   . 2.   The holidays are incomplete without     eggnog, a candy cane under my pillow, and a Naomi Portland to Coos Bay car ride   . 3.   My favorite things to do around the holidays is      wear scarves and gloves, go to Shore Acres and score awesome gifts for my family      . 4.   A holiday tradition my family and I have is     op ening our presents on Christmas Eve.  Every year since I can remember my mom has made us all pajama's, so we open our presents the night before so that we can all wear our special
