fill in the blank friday!

Yay!  Once again it is fill in the blank Friday, that means its the weekend!  This week has been filled with working and working out with Jillian Michaels!  To link up to fill in the blank friday, just go to  the little things we do  and check out Lauren's blog! 1.    One of life's most simple pleasures is     snuggle time with the husband  . 2.     Sitting in traffic       makes me want to punch someone. 3.   I like     my husband       because,      he is adorable  . 4.    Swipe     is a funny word. 5.   If I had to choose one beauty product to use for the rest of eternity it would be      Burts bees chapstick.  No body wants chapped lips people  . 6.   I'm happy that     I don't have to work for two whole days!    . 7.   I would never      ever ever ever speak publicly.  I stumble with my words in a normal conversation, there is NO WAY I would ever make it work in front of other people    . Have a great weekend everyone!  And let me know if you link

My favorite parts of this week!

Quinn & Elliot (AJ not shown).  Love that she birthed a happy healthy little boy and had a great time visiting them in the hospital! Finally packaging up Naomi's birthday / thank you for helping so much at the wedding gift!  Excited to do something fun with a dreary old paper bag!  (inspiration from  Julia ) Last but not least, receiving these awesome stamps in the mail!  Jordan over at  Trailer Gypsy  has a bunch of stamp sets that she is selling, for a good price!  I loved these ones, and after I paid the invoice she sent them to me right away!  She also added a few little getting started items!  Thank you so much Jordan!  Looking forward to crafting more! What were your favorite parts of the week!?

Fill in the blank Friday!

Yay!  Happy Friday everyone!  I sure hope its the end of your work week!  Eight more hours and freedom!  Kind of, I already have plans for the whole entire weekend, so not quite freedom, but fun-dom for sure :) Like usual, I'm linked up over at  the little things we do  with my blanks, go check out everyone else's! I've been thinking about this place non-stop since we left, I had to post it for my friday photo. 1.    My idea of pure perfection would be      everyday fun with the husband, not both of us working all day   . 2.      Love         makes the world go 'round. 3.   If it weren't for      my husband       I'd     try to get pregnant (no, I'm not obsessed, we just visited the Swobaby yesterday is all...freaking cutest ever!)    . 4.   Bloggers are      creative and inspirational, I've been checking out so many blogs lately that my brain is going to explode from ideas soon!  . 5.   If I had       a million dollars      I'd buy you

Happy Colors.

Bright colorful things have been making me smile so much lately!  I just thought I'd share a few from the last few days! I edited both of these photos in instagram, my most favorite photo app.  Its so basic and simple, easy to use, but has some awesome features AND you get to share your photos and see all of your friends!   BTW, I bought my first 'crazy' clothing purchase last week, emerald green pants!  I love them!  A big shout out to Sarah over at  girlcrush  for the inspiration and to my husband Mark for allowing me to wear something outside of the box :) Whats making you smile these days?!

I'm in Love!

Here are just a few things I can't keep my eyes off of these days!   I love the brightly colored bag, the gold watch and bangles...The printed mini-skirt is just perfect Portland wear! Decorating our place has been weighing on me for quite some time, these are a few things I've been loving from pinterest, you can find them on  my pinterest boards. In other news, we sold my good ol' Subaru.  She was a great car, I had her for 5 whole years (and put thousands of dollars towards her!).  We are excited to have sold her for a little extra cash, which we promptly put towards some debt..and a bit of shopping :).  Since I've been working downtown we officially decided we were going to sell her, I was driving her MAYBE one day a week, and it just wasn't worth the $200 car payment anymore.  Now we will be able to put that extra $200 a month towards the rest of our debt and hopefully be debt free within the year!   My stash of homemade knitted baby blankets is growing
