Wedding Wednesday! (a little late)

This week I have just been captivated by the outdoor wedding photos.  My wedding was in March, so no fancy outdoorsy seating for us.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Once again you can find these all on my  pinterest .

Thursday Lately.

Hey guys! This week I have decided to do a small Thursday Lately. Becky over at Bex A Style Diary started it, and I love seeing her and Linda at Rose a La Mode be so stinking happy during their videos. I refuse to do a video (bad hair and sweatpants kinda day) but I still wanted to share a few things that I am thankful for this week! (be sure to check out their blog and watch their cute videos!)  First is my hottie hubby! He seriously is the best, he works hard at two jobs and always tries to be in a super great mood :) He does the dishes when I forget and cleans the bathtub. He is wonderful and I'm so incredibly thankful for him.   Next is Martha Stewart. Haha, weird I know, but ive been making dinners from her website and they have been helpful and delicious!  I'm also thankful for a fun workplace, a nice boss and great coworkers.   I hope you're thankful for something this week :)

Wedding Wednesday!

I just love looking at other peoples wedding photos (mine as well I suppose!). I can just feel the happiness! I was not a very fun bride the day of, I woke up and hardly talked to anyone and could barely keep anything down. I was soooo stinking nervous to stand up in front of people, declare my everlasting love and to the recite the vows I wrote. Yikes, it still makes my stomach tighten up just thinking about having to do it all over again! I give props to all the ladies who were able to enjoy not just the event itself but the festivities beforehand. These are just a few photos that caught my eye on pinterest so far this week, and a couple more of my own.  Enjoy! Isn't my man the hottest?  ;) love!

Portland public transit.

Any of you ride the bus or max where you live? Since I got my job at The Bob Shop downtown I've been riding the bus to or from work (most days Mark will either drop me off or pick me up). Today I was telling my husband about the normal person who sat next to me on the bus today. He was holding Stumptown coffee, reading a book and smelled completely normal! It was fabulous!   Which made me recall all the weird / gross things that have happened the last 3.5 months.  -Standing next to a pile of vomit  -Seeing an old Asian lady pull out her top and bottom set of teeth and then spit on them  -Stinky stinky feet  -Teenage boy dancing & lip syncing while sitting next to me  -Getting hit in the head repeatedly by the guy standing next to me  -Old black guy talking very loudly about how my white ancestors enslaved his ancestors and how it's still happening today   Despite all my weird encounters, the Portland transit is really great. A bus stops at my stop e

A true Fall weekend.

This weekend Mark and I went to Krugar Farms to hunt for the perfect pumpkins! All thanks goes to Living Social for providing us with a great deal, two corn maze passes, twin 25lb pumpkins, two carmal apples and two roasted corns for only $20!! We started the morning with a delicious breakfast (made by yours truly) grabbed a pumpkin spice latte and off we went! I was surprised at how much fun we had! We wandered around the maze, and around the pumpkin patch and left feeling super pleased with our morning :) plus we missed the pumpkin patch traffic! Here are some photos from our amazing weekend! Sorry about all the kissy photos. actually, no I'm not.  I love all the kissing ;) love!

fill in the blank friday!

It's time for Fill in the Blank Friday!!!  Feel free to play along over at Lauren's blog  here .   1.   The most selfless thing I've ever done was something I don't want to share on my blog :).   2.   When it comes to working out I really really really want to do it all the time, but I rarely do, but for the most part I enjoy it (Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is my fav workout) 3.  A woman should always   put her man before herself. That being said, she should also make sure she is feeling good about herself, on the days I don't feel good with me, that grouchy wife comes out and I'm not as fun to hang around with ( even though my husband would never tell me I'm not fun to be around, such a sweet guy!) 4. I wish I could   be more productive all the time. Like if I'm home for two hours I wish I would use it to bake cookies, sew a top and clean the entire house. I'm just slightly too lazy for that.  5.  A best f

better than Betty Crocker.

Thats right ladies, this Crocker > Betty Crocker. Last week I made the MOST delicious Blueberry Muffins of all time.  Now, they aren't gluten free / fat free / anything free, but who cares!  Make the muffins, eat the muffins, LOVE the muffins. Ingredients: 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature (I used maybe 9) 1 1/2 cups sugar 3 extra-large eggs, at rooms temperature 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 8 ounces (1 cup-ish) sour cream 1/4 cup milk 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 2 half pints fresh blueberries (pick through for stems) Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, place paper liners in muffin pans. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.  With the mixer on low speed, add the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla, so

Wedding Wednesday!

I love my hubby, seriously, I don't think they come better than him! He just loves and adores me more than I can explain, which is great for the love life ;). Anyway, just wanted to share a few of my wedding favs from our special day :). Enjoy!

A More Exciting Blog.

I've been doing a lot of reading lately...mostly on crazy popular blogs, trying to get ideas of things to write about. What I've mostly been seeing is people writing and sharing what they are most passionate/excited about. I only have a few ideas so far, but I know I'm passionate about: 1. My marriage / husband 2. My God and His word 3. Inspiring blogs and 4. DIY and crafty things! I hope to incorporate these things and more in the next chapter of my blog! What are your favorite things to read about on your favorite blogs?! <3  Tracy

Oh Anthro.
