I'm featured on someone else's blog today!

I won a BUNCH of awesome stuff from a giveaway a few weeks ago (thank you The Daily Tay!!) and one of the prizes was a free guest posting over at Bold Butter Baby. Brin was so friendly and helpful (I was so nervous!), she sent me a list of questions and after questioning my answers a bazillion times, I sent them back to her, easy peasy!

Liebster Award!

Earlier this week Rachel from Butler Diaries nominated me for the Liebster award, which is a way for smaller blogs to connect with other small blogs. I love Rachel's blog, she is always so real and honest about her life and amazingly sweet. The Rules: Thank the person who nominated you and link your post to their blog. Comment on their blogs informing them of the Liebster Award nomination. 11 FACTS ABOUT ME: 1. I just opened my own Etsy shop! KnitPurlStitch ! 2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE CrossFit. 3. I still have a quilt my mom made me when I was 2. I've had to stitch it up a few times and so its name is now 'Frankie Blankie'. Its weird. I know. 4. I used to eat ramen noodles daily. Now I don't even know the last time I ate them. I miss them :)...

Dinner Fail, Dessert Win!

Last nights dinner was supposed to look like this Instead it turned out like this It was a serious fail. The flavor was good, but it looked terrible and took more than twice as long to make as we thought it would. Oh and, it was a bit too crispy. BUT Dessert redeemed me, it was Kiwi Lemon Cheesecake - Yum! The recipe called for lemon curd, and when I saw how expensive it was at the store, I decided to try and make my own! It turned out great, and this was the end result It was not quite as solid as it should have been, but delicious non-the-less! Both of these recipes were from Rachel Ray's Everyday magazine. It was exciting making new things, hopefully next time they turn out a bit better :) xxoo

Midnight in Paris

I just stumbled upon these seriously gorgeous photos of Marion Cotillard and had to share! I am now itching to see Midnight in Paris because of its 93% rating from Rotten Tomatoes {and dang it's hard to please them!}. Have you seen it, did you enjoy it? xxoo
