Liebster Award!

Earlier this week Rachel from  Butler Diaries  nominated me for the Liebster award, which is a way for smaller blogs to connect with other small blogs. I love Rachel's blog, she is always so real and honest about her life and amazingly sweet.  The Rules: Thank the person who nominated you and link your post to their blog. List 11 facts about yourself then answer the 11 questions given to you. Create 11 more questions for your 9 nominees, all of whom have 200 or less followers. Comment on their blogs informing them of the Liebster Award nomination. 11 FACTS ABOUT ME: 1.  I just opened my own Etsy shop!   KnitPurlStitch ! 2.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE CrossFit. 3.  I still have a quilt my mom made me when I was 2.  I've had to stitch it up a few times and so its name is now 'Frankie Blankie'.  Its weird. I know. 4.  I used to eat ramen noodles daily.  Now I don't even know the last time I ate them. I miss them :)...

Weekend

This weekend M and I got to go to Portland and spend some time with my sister and her family. She has two little boys and one on the way, so every second has noise/crying/laughter. Joellen and I got to spend some time away (went to the mall) which was a perfect break from chaos. I did get quite a bit of knitting done and was able to post some new stuff up on my Etsy shop ! I also got three custom orders (yay!!). If you see anything on my site you like but are interested in a different size, color or color combos just let me know! Here is a peek of my new product!

New Path!

I am loving everything CrossFit right now ya'll, I seriously cannot workout enough, or hard enough! I'm always trying to see where in the workout I could have gone harder or faster or pushed 'I can't' out of my head instead of letting it sit there for a while. It feels awesome to be in shape again, to say I'm almost back to the athlete I once was! I'm not losing any more on the scale, I've capped out at 11.5 pounds gone, but I can see my muscles tightening up a little more each week! I'm definitely gaining muscle weight! Over the next few weeks my trainer Cody is officially starting to get the box he's running up and going, and oh man...he asked me if I would like to coach! There is a lot I have to do to get there, but the fact that he thinks I can do it feels amazing! I couldn't be more excited to start running down this new life path, to actually have a career goal like this-it's one of the best feelings! CrossFit Audacity peopl...

Hey guys! I know that I have mentioned before my love of knitting, how fun it is to figure new things out and how amazing it is that with two sticks and some yarn you can create some truly awesome things! Well, I decided to put my love out there for other people to see, favorite and purchase on etsy! My shop name is KnitPurlStitch and I have also got my own URL : www.knitpurlstitch.com , it just kicks you automatically over to my shop. I'm daily just working away, and will be adding more and more each week as I finish up some product! It's so exciting to see how many people are looking at my items, even people I don't know adding them to their favorites! Here is a quick peek at some items already posted, and a few that will be posted later this week :) I hope to see you around my shop!

Simple Saturdays

This is what our lazy Saturday morning looked like today. Working on a commissioned hat for a friend and drinking some soothing tea for my maybe getting sick throat. This nanny is a sucker for those big sad eyes of a sick baby, which means too many kisses from someone with a cold. I hope your Saturday morning is as lazy as mine! PS. M and I got a new camera (Canon Rebel t3i) so please forgive me if I start posting too many pictures :)

Hope and Faith

Last month was my last chance of getting pregnant in time to still have a baby at the age of 26. Of course I know it doesn't really matter what age I am when I have my first child, it was just because that was how old my mom was when she had me. It felt like it would be a fun connection between us three. And then my period was 5 full days late! And I was just so so happy. On day three of lateness we were at church and I was just thanking Jesus for the ability to be a mom, and of fulfilling this dream of mine and I prayed for the health of my little tot and that it would always just feel so loved by us. I knew that God loved me and wanted to show me that I shouldn't doubt Him, that He has my back. Then on Wednesday I started my period. Sigh* But I am still reminded of that joyous feeling I had on Sunday, that I should still have complete faith in my Father, that He loves me more than I can imagine and that soon enough M and I will get our child. And right now I have so muc...
