fill in the blank friday!

sorry I've been MIA lately here on the blog.  these last few weeks have been full of family, fun and a cold :(  if you want to read other bloggers blanks, go visit  Lauren's  blog!  1.    New Years is      exciting, and i am so ready to 'start fresh' with the year 2012    . 2.    One of my New Year's resolutions will be   to fit into my pre-wedding pants.  sad but true, these hips aren't what they used to be!    . 3.   A New Year's resolution I've made in the past was to    not eat fast food for the whole year of 2010.    i did it, and it felt amazing to be fast food free.      . 4.  The most time consuming resolution I ever made was     ... n/a.  i don't think i've had a time consuming resolution!      . 5.   This year I will be spending New Year's Eve  ...

reason # 3987

reason # 3987 why i love my husband : he knows how to calm me down when i'm incredibly anxious and freaking out. he spends long spans of time with my family playing dominoes and watching silly tv. i can't help but love my husband after all the love he pours out on me :)

fill in the blank friday

i cannot even begin to tell you how happy i am that it is finally friday!  this weekend husband and i are going to Coos Bay to visit our families and we both have a 3 day weekend!   fill in your blanks and then link up to  the little things we do .  be sure to let me know if you did :) 1.    My most favorite "little thing" is        baby kisses .  when i nannied for the twins i got tons and tons of baby kisses, not as many now...but definitely one of my favorite things   . 2.    I'd give anything to   have longer than a 3 day weekend, a two week paid vacation sounds nice.. 3.   I can't believe     how hard it is to get myself motivated to work out.   {crazy hard}    . 4.  The one thing I'd like to achieve today is     to finally hot glue my wine corks {it makes more sense if you know what I'm talking about...}   ...

feeling thankful today.

this morning as i was driving hime at 4:30 in the morning {from dropping off my husband at work} i kept thinking about all the things i am thankful for. i am so thankful that God gave me this man to marry, he is the kindest, sweetest and most giving person i know. i won't ever be able to express how thankful i am that God loves me and accepts me...but more than that, that he will love me unconditionally and always forgives me for my wrongs. i am thankful for everything that He provides for us.  we always have more than what we need. a warm house, food in my refrigerator, a savings account and families that love us. this list could be never-ending, but for now i'll leave it like this. i hope you all have something to be thankful for this holiday season!

We love the weekend.

this weekend husband and I : went to Aubris baby shower { can't wait to meet that baby boy!} made an ornament wreath! went man-shoe shopping listened to a mall orchestra while scarfing pizza saw Breaking Dawn! made christmas cookies / decorated them : what did you do this weekend?

Reason # 1087

reason # 1087 why I love my husband: after working a long morning shift at the bux, he takes a nap and then tells me we are going to go grab dinner and a movie. then he sits through the twilight movie breaking dawn, and didn't complain afterwards :) what a man!
